Witness a 1,300-year-old tradition preserved on the Kiso River. As evening falls, fires are lit on traditional wooden boats to illuminate the water, creating a scene where flickering flames and diving birds hunt by the rhythm of the river. We arrange this exclusive experience for you, including a choice of dinner styles that vary by season. These curated bentos are crafted by local specialty shops specifically for the event and often feature the same ayu (sweetfish) being fished for on the river. For those who prefer an alternative to fish, other options are available, though availability is not guaranteed.
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in Inuyama or at Inuyama Station to escort you to the riverside dock. We will handle your check-in and payment on-site, ensuring you are settled onto your boat for the performance. Please note that while we coordinate every detail of your evening and escort you to the dock, the guide does not join you on the viewing boat.
