Our private walking tours in Nara are designed to give you a clear way to explore Japan’s first permanent capital, connecting major sites such as Todai-ji’s Great Buddha, the tree-lined paths of Kasuga Taisha Shrine, and the preserved streets of Naramachi. Half-day and full-day options allow for a well-paced route through the city’s historic areas without trying to cover too much.

These routes are planned to move naturally between Nara’s major sites, balancing its most well-known landmarks with quieter paths and spaces along the way.

Additional Expenses

The following costs are not included in the tour fee and must be paid directly by the guest at the time of the service:

• Transportation: All public and private transit fees for the group and the guide.
• Dining: All food and beverage costs for the group and the guide.
• Admission: Entrance fees for temples, museums, and other attractions.
• Other: Accommodation fees and any requested tour add-ons.

Age Restrictions & Evening Tours

• Guests must be at least 20 years old to consume alcohol, in accordance with Japanese law.
• Certain evening itineraries may have specific age restrictions; please verify requirements at the time of booking.
